Tasting notes
Our Cougar Bubbly was made with 100% Estate grown Arneis, which is a take on an ancient grape from Piedmonte, Italy. This dry style bubbly was fermented and carbonated on site and offers crisp Anjou & Asian pears aromas on the nose, along with Gala apple & white flowers. Delicate aromas and flavors of pears, with a hint of almonds. The grape seems to possess more acidity in California than in Italy, yielding a crisper wine with a more lingering finish.
