Tasting Areas
California Roots. Italian Soul.
At Cougar Vineyard & Winery, Rick and Jennifer grow the grapes, make the wine, and welcome guests to their 17-acre estate on the De Portola Wine Trail.
Discover Italian varietals beyond the usual Temecula tasting lineup—from Sangiovese, Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Vermentino to rarer finds such as Brachetto, Falanghina, and Ciliegiolo. Our friendly team will guide you through each wine in an approachable way, sharing what makes it distinctive without turning your tasting into a lecture.
Make an afternoon of it with made-to-order pizzas, charcuterie, and wine-friendly dishes from Sangio’s Osteria. Then settle into an Adirondack chair, take in the vineyard views, and stay awhile.
Dogs are welcome, and wine club members are treated like insiders from the start.
Reservations are required on weekends for groups of 6 or more. Smaller groups are welcome without a reservation, though booking ahead is the best way to secure your preferred seating area.
Reserve your tasting and discover why curious wine drinkers make Cougar their Temecula favorite.
